O Museu do Amanhã apresenta a exposição CyberFunk: Tecnologias de uma Cidade Ritmada no Laboratório de Atividades do Amanhã. Curada pelo artista Pedro Pessanha, esta mostra projeta um Rio de Janeiro futurista, onde som e tecnologia se entrelaçam para criar um ambiente vibrante e dinâmico. A exposição reúne os artistas Africanoise, bernardo pormenor, Escola de Mistérios, Gean Guilherme, Vicxs além de textos de GG Albuquerque, Obirin Odara e Rachel Oliveira Vieira. Dividida em três eixos temáticos – territorialidade, som e moda – em CyberFunk o público é provocado a abraçar a responsabilidade sobre nossa relação com a tecnologia e seus usos, movimentando as táticas de hackeamentos e redirecionamentos das intenções, por meio das proposições de artistas interessados em pesquisar formas como nossa interação com a inovações técnicas influencia nossa percepção de tempo e território.
Cyberfunk se propõe a pensar em como os ritmos da cidade levantam perguntas fundamentais para os próximos anos: como a história das cidades influencia a existência dos corpos negros no futuro? A tecnologia pode ser um espaço de emancipação? Como os sons da diáspora negra podem orientar construções coletivas futuras?
The Museum of Tomorrow presents the exhibition CyberFunk: Technologies of a Rhythmic City in the Laboratory of Activities of Tomorrow. Curated by the artist Pedro Pessanha, this exhibition projects a futuristic Rio de Janeiro, where sound and technology intertwine to create a vibrant and dynamic environment. The exhibition brings together the artists Africanoise, bernardo pormenor, Escola de Mistérios, Gean Guilherme, Vicxs, as well as texts by GG Albuquerque, Obirin Odara, and Rachel Oliveira Vieira. Divided into three thematic axes – territoriality, sound, and fashion – in CyberFunk the public is challenged to embrace responsibility for our relationship with technology and its uses, exploring hacking tactics and redirecting intentions, through the propositions of artists interested in researching how our interaction with technical innovations influences our perception of time and territory. Cyberfunk aims to explore how the rhythms of the city raise fundamental questions for the coming years: how does the history of cities influence the existence of Black bodies in the future? Can technology be a space for emancipation? How can the sounds of the Black diaspora guide future collective constructions?
