A report by G1 Rio, published on July 20, 2016, reported that the Museum of Tomorrow celebrated Santos Dumont's 143rd birthday with a free screening of the documentary "Santos Dumont – The Challenge of the Air," followed by a Q&A with director Adolfo Rosenthal. The film, which narrates the inventor's life based on his own accounts, used life-size replicas of the 14-Bis and the Demoiselle to realistically recreate his flights. The special event, held in the museum's auditorium, complemented the visit to the exhibition "The Flying Poet, Santos Dumont," which was then on display there.
