At the opening of the 2025 season of Encounters for Tomorrow: Life is Intelligent - Intelligences and Utopias, writer, professor, and philosopher Helena Theodoro and writer and professor Luiz Antônio Simas showed how Carnival is more than just a party: it is technology, resistance, and a collective dream in a city deeply marked by African traditions. In the Museum's auditorium, the audience reflected on ancestral intelligences, collectivity, and the transformative power of popular manifestations, celebrating the idea that when life gets tough, we party – and resist.
Na abertura da temporada 2025 de Encontros para o Amanhã: A Vida é Inteligente - Inteligências e Utopias, a escritora, professora e filósofa Helena Theodoro e o escritor e professor Luiz Antônio Simas mostraram como o carnaval é mais do que uma festa: é tecnologia, resistência e sonho coletivo em uma cidade profundamente marcada por tradições africanas. No auditório do Museu, o público refletiu sobre inteligências ancestrais, coletividade e o poder transformador das manifestações populares, celebrando a ideia de que, quando a vida aperta, a gente faz festa – e resiste.
