Between September 10th and 15th, 2018, the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro hosted the 3rd National Meeting of the Brazilian Association of Science Centers and Museums (ABCMC). Under the theme "Science Centers and Museums in Networked Societies," the event, organized by Alfredo Tiomno Tolmasquim and José Ribamar Ferreira, established itself as one of the most significant in the sector. Its focus was to discuss the role of these institutions in a world of vast information, highlighting themes such as the UN's 2030 Agenda, social inclusion, and the popularization of science, as recorded in its book of abstracts
