With the participation of curator Eder Chiodetto and photographers Lalo de Almeida and Luciano Candisani, the meeting proposes a conversation about the power of photography as a tool for reflection, awareness, and action in the face of environmental emergencies. The discussion will be moderated by the Coordinator of the Documenta Pantanal initiative, the project's proponent.
Based on the year-and-a-half-long trajectory of the exhibition ÁGUA PANTANAL FOGO, which traveled to São Paulo, Hamburg, and Lisbon, the debate addresses the impact of images on building public awareness and strengthening the fight for environmental preservation.
Under the premise that information generates action, the conversation invites the public to reflect on the role of photography in the discussion of a better world and on the choices we make today in the face of the question that pervades us: what will tomorrow be like?
