The event "Cineconversa - Trem do Soul," part of the Evidence of Black Cultures program at the Museum of Tomorrow, consisted of an activity that combined the screening of the documentary "Trem do Soul" with a debate moderated by the director, Clementino Junior. The film traces a memorial and affective cartography of a young, Black, and marginalized movement that, in the 1970s in the Rio de Janeiro Metropolitan Region, mobilized hearts, bodies, minds, and even the uniforms of the time. The film discussion format provided the audience with the opportunity to engage directly with the filmmaker, delving into themes related to memory, marginalized Black culture, and the youth expressions that challenged social and symbolic structures in the context of Greater Rio in the 1970s.
