The event “Pathways to Sustainable Societies | Our Ocean” was held by the Museum of Tomorrow in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The meeting was moderated by actress Maria Flor and brought together Alexander Turra – biologist and professor at the Oceanographic Institute of USP – and Lika Souza – fisheries engineer, diver and environmental activist. The conversation addressed the importance of the oceans for the planet's balance, the impacts of human action on marine ecosystems, and possible paths for the conservation and sustainable use of ocean resources.
