Freelance journalist and writer, born and raised in the Brazilian Amazon, based in Belém, the host city of COP30. She specializes in Science Communication and develops her work at the intersection of science, the environment, and the Amazon, combining journalistic rigor and sensitive storytelling.
Recently, she was a fellow of the Earth Journalism Network (2024), focusing on covering ocean-related topics. She writes for local, national, and international publications and has received important recognition, such as selection for the Pulitzer Center COP30 Call (2025), the Global Institute for Reporting on Early Childhood and Caregivers (2024), and the Galapagos Journey (2024).
She was also selected for the National Press Foundation's international fellowship Covering Rare Diseases (2022), participated in the US Embassy's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), won the FactCheckLab in the Northern region with a project on childhood vaccination (2020), and was the only representative from the Northern region at the Women in Science Workshop, promoted by the British Council (2018).
