O Livro do Evento – vol. 2 do X Colóquio de Zoologia Cultural reúne a palestra de abertura e os trabalhos apresentados em dezembro de 2025, em formato híbrido, com parte presencial no Museu de Folclore Edison Carneiro (RJ) e parte remota pelo YouTube.
Entre os resumos, destaca-se “Bichinhos Pantaneiros”: uma atividade com acessibilidade, de Júlia Mayer de Araujo (Museu do Amanhã). O trabalho descreve uma imersão educativa desenvolvida no âmbito da exposição Água, Pantanal, Fogo, voltada para a divulgação científica sobre três animais do bioma — ariranha, capivara e onça-pintada. A atividade se diferenciou pelo uso de múltiplos recursos de acessibilidade: vídeos com Libras, audiodescrição, legendas e linguagem simples, além de pelúcias táteis e materiais impressos em braile, comunicação alternativa e ampliada.
Realizada em setembro de 2025 durante a Primavera de Museus, a iniciativa demonstrou potencial para despertar o interesse tanto pelos animais quanto pelas próprias práticas inclusivas, evidenciando o compromisso do Museu do Amanhã com a acessibilidade comunicacional e atitudinal em suas ações educativas.
The Event Book – Vol. 2 of the 10th Colloquium on Cultural Zoology brings together the opening lecture and the papers presented in December 2025, in a hybrid format, with part in-person at the Edison Carneiro Folklore Museum (Rio de Janeiro) and part remotely via YouTube. Among the abstracts, a highlight is “Pantanal Animals”: an accessible activity, by Júlia Mayer de Araujo (Museum of Tomorrow). The work describes an educational immersion developed within the scope of the exhibition Water, Pantanal, Fire, aimed at scientific dissemination about three animals of the biome — giant otter, capybara, and jaguar. The activity stood out for its use of multiple accessibility resources: videos with Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), audio description, subtitles and simple language, in addition to tactile plush toys and printed materials in Braille, alternative and augmented communication. Held in September 2025 during the Spring of Museums, the initiative demonstrated the potential to spark interest in both animals and inclusive practices themselves, highlighting the Museum of Tomorrow's commitment to communicational and attitudinal accessibility in its educational activities.
