A exposição “100 Anos da Academia Brasileira de Ciências” oferece ao público uma espécie de “túnel do tempo” das descobertas científicas e da construção de centros de pesquisa do Brasil e do mundo. A mostra reúne vídeos e fotos, além de um painel destacando 18 cientistas brasileiros que contribuíram para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico do país
O evento conta ainda com um e-book interativo para crianças, que poderão aprender sobre grandes cientistas do Brasil através de jogos, ilustrações e filmes de animação, produzidos pelo Canal Futura e pelo Sesi. Simultaneamente, um evento semelhante sobre o centenário da ABC também acontece no Salão Negro da Câmara Federal, em Brasília.
The exhibition “100 Years of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences” offers the public a kind of “time tunnel” of scientific discoveries and the construction of research centers in Brazil and around the world. The exhibition includes videos and photos, as well as a panel highlighting 18 Brazilian scientists who contributed to the socioeconomic development of the country. The event also features an interactive e-book for children, who can learn about great Brazilian scientists through games, illustrations, and animated films produced by Canal Futura and Sesi. Simultaneously, a similar event about the ABC's centenary is also taking place in the Black Hall of the Federal Chamber in Brasília.

O Museu do Amanhã recebe na noite da próxima terça-feira a cerimônia de celebração pelos 100 anos da Academia Brasileira de Ciências (ABC). A Reunião Magna irá reunir dezenas de cientistas brasileiros e estrangeiros de excelência em palestras sobre temas atuais de interesse geral, como zika vírus, segurança alimentar global, energia e o desenvolvimento do pensamento científico. A sessão de abertura será conduzida pelo Prêmio Nobel de Física 2015, Takaaki Kajita.

However, the real gift will be for the public, who will be able to see an exhibition on the main discoveries of Brazilian and world science since 1916 – the year the ABC was created – and, starting Wednesday (4), attend the series of lectures at the institution's Magna Meeting, also held at the Museum. The Magna Meeting will bring together dozens of outstanding Brazilian and foreign scientists to give lectures on current topics of general interest, such as the Zika virus, global food security, energy, and the development of scientific thought. The opening session will be led by the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics laureate, Takaaki Kajita.
