The Museum of Tomorrow, in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of Rio de Janeiro, was honored to announce the third edition of the Elisa Frota Pessoa Award.

The initiative aimed to foster scientific and academic development in the municipality, valuing Higher Education Institutions, recognizing the scientific production carried out by women, and encouraging new generations of female researchers.

In this edition, the award was granted through a competition that selected the best scientific articles written by undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students affiliated with higher education institutions located in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro.

The central theme of this edition was:

"Science, Technology and Innovation in the promotion of sustainability, social justice and solutions to contemporary urban challenges."
