On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 5 PM, the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro hosted the 4th edition of the project “Sempre um Papo – Palavra Acesa” (Always a Chat – Word Ablaze). This initiative, which promotes encounters between writers, artists, and the public to discuss significant poems from Brazilian literature in dialogue with contemporary issues, used as its basis the poem “Da calma e do silêncio” (Of Calm and Silence) by Conceição Evaristo, one of the most powerful voices in contemporary Brazilian literature.

The conversation included the participation of actress, writer, and cultural activist Bruna Lombardi and journalist and writer Aydano André Motta, moderated by journalist and writer Luciana Barreto. The opening featured a video recorded by the poet Conceição Evaristo herself, who read the poem. The meeting used poetry as a starting point for reflections on themes such as resistance, affection, and ancestry, articulating Evaristo's writing as a spark to broaden the horizons of poetic listening and collective thought.

The event was open to all ages and free of charge, with tickets available through Sympla. It was presented by the Ministry of Culture, the City of Rio, and the Museum of Tomorrow, and produced by the Associação Cultural Sempre um Papo and AB Comunicação e Cultura.
