A instalação expositiva Oca está localizada na última área da exposição de longa duração, intitulada Nós, logo após a área Amanhãs. Sua estrutura em madeira, concebida por Helio Olga, remete tanto a uma habitação indígena — oca ou maloca — quanto a um casulo, a depender da interpretação do visitante.
O espaço é formado por duas grandes peças semicirculares de madeira, compostas por losangos vazados e iluminadas por 428 lâmpadas que evocam a luz do alvorecer. A instalação é acompanhada por uma trilha sonora ambiente que completa a experiência, criando uma imersão sensorial de caráter intimista e reflexivo.
A concepção arquitetônica é assinada por Mônica Lobo, o design por Muti Randolph e a composição sonora por Lucas Marcier. A instalação e execução ficaram a cargo de Helio Olga, da Ita Construtora. As dimensões totais da estrutura são de 864 × 921 × 1752 cm.
No interior da Oca, destaca-se o churinga, objeto ritual da cultura aborígene australiana, apresentado sobre uma base que recebeu intervenção da artista Mana Bernardes.
Ao sair da Oca/Maloca, o visitante encontra o texto de encerramento da exposição de longa duração: “O AMANHÃ É O HOJE. E HOJE É O LUGAR DA AÇÃO.”

The Oca exhibition installation is located in the last area of the long-term exhibition, entitled Nós (Us), right after the Amanhãs (Tomorrows) area. Its wooden structure, conceived by Helio Olga, evokes both an indigenous dwelling—oca or maloca—and a cocoon, depending on the visitor's interpretation. The space is formed by two large semicircular wooden pieces, composed of hollow rhombuses and illuminated by 428 lamps that evoke the light of dawn. The installation is accompanied by an ambient soundtrack that completes the experience, creating an intimate and reflective sensory immersion. The architectural concept is by Mônica Lobo, the design by Muti Randolph, and the sound composition by Lucas Marcier.
